In last week’s One-Minute Expedition, we went about identifying our Desire, or what gets us out of bed in the morning and why we will be missed when we’re gone. Now it’s time to boil it down to one sentence.
It’s important for your Desire to be a single sentence because it must be memorable — both for you and for others.
Here are a couple of our personal sentences:
I desire to create civic health.
I desire to live a truthful life and help others do the same.
Pull out your Desire you defined last week. Rewrite it as a single sentence, beginning with “I desire to …” Put it in a visible place so you can be reminded of it daily.
