Current Means is asset-based thinking that enables you to focus and use what you have right now to get your ideas into action quickly. Examples of your Current Means are your experiences, skills, and relationships.
Taking inventory of your Current Means provides you with the ability to take steps from a position of abundance rather than being stopped by focusing on what you do not have. If you creatively and generously look at your experiences, skills, and relationships, you’ll gain enough energy to begin taking small steps toward your idea.
Extra Credit: Make an inventory of your Current Means by answering the following questions. Try to identify 3-5 items per question.
- What do I know? (i.e. experiences)
- Who do I know? (i.e. relationships)
- What do I have? (i.e. skills)
