Spark Your Joy with Ingrid Fetell Lee
February 27, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
What is it about a laughing baby, a kaleidoscopic sunset, or sparkling fireworks that make us feel so good?
The joy they evoke.
Designer and writer Ingrid Fetell Lee believes the physical world is a powerful resource for creating happier, healthier lives, and she’s coming to Studio/E to share her ideas about creating environments that promote more joy.
An emerging body of research reveals a strong link between the spaces and objects we interact with daily and our mental health. Deep within us all is an impulse to seek out joy in our surroundings, and Ingrid is going to show us where to begin creating the joyful environments we need to thrive.
At Studio/E, we emphasize the importance of choosing the right mindset to give you energy and affect your outcomes. A mindset of possibility paired with Ingrid’s ideas about designing joyful environments for yourself and others is a recipe for a happier — and therefore healthier — you.
Ingrid’s colorful personality – which has been observed more than two million times in her TED Talk, Where Joy Hides and How to Find It – is as delightful as her new book, Joyful: The Surprising Power of Ordinary Things to Create Extraordinary Happiness. While the feeling of joy is intangible, it is accessible through tangible, physical attributes, and we are thrilled to bring Ingrid to Studio/E for a night learning about how we can pursue it ourselves.
Learn how to harness the power of your surroundings to live a more abundant and joyful life. Join us for a joyful evening with Ingrid Fetell Lee.
