The Art of Gathering Featuring Priya Parker

June 5 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Priya_Parker

You know when you leave a gathering and you feel inspired, energized, and ready to tackle anything that comes your way? And you know when you leave thinking your time would have been better spent elsewhere? We want to create more of the former – those experiences when people come together with intention and meaning, making connections and sharing ideas.

Does that sound ideal to you?

If so, we invite you to join us for a transformative evening with Priya Parker, strategic advisor and founder of Thrive Labs, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Studio/E Clubhouse. Her book, The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Mattersdraws on her experience facilitating high-powered gatherings from the Museum of Modern Art to conflict resolution processes in the Arab world, while also touching on more casual engagements – like a backyard barbecue.

From her brilliant dinner series for global leaders called 15 Toasts to her experiment-turned-movement, #IAmHereDays, Priya knows how to make meaning out of a gathering, and she will be sharing her approach with us as we engage in what is guaranteed to be a memorable gathering.

Attendees will receive a copy of her bookThe Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Matters, a must-read for anyone who wants to make more out of the gatherings they host and attend.

Please note: The location is subject to change based on interest.

This is a part of our Hero Speaker Series. Upcoming speakers are Ingrid Fetell Lee (February 27), Phil Hansen (April 11), Jimmy Chin (August 7), and Ryan Holiday (October 23).

Tickets: $75 for general public, free to active Studio/E members + 1 guest with discount code.
