We had another round of inspiring conversations, insights and new connections at the second Studio/E #ideaSLAM. At the slam we heard idea pitches from three Studio/E members, followed by a fireside chat and Q&A; saw the application of Studio/E methodology and tools first-hand; and mingled with a diverse, curious community of exploratory leaders.

Breaking the Barriers of Human Potential

Best known from her swim across the Bering Straight in 1987, open-water swimmer Lynne Cox does more than just cross bodies of water; she weaves people — and nations — together. Her swim to Russia was a diplomatic move, opening the US-Soviet Union border for the first time in 48 years. Similarly, Lynne swam across Lake Titicaca from Bolivia to Peru, enhancing the relations between the two countries.
