Being a part of diverse networks of people gives you energy, different viewpoints, and access to new relationships, experiences, and skills.
Here are three ways to diversify your network:
- Join a diverse learning community. Studio/E is one, but other examples of learning communities are Vistage and Rotary.
- If you don’t have the resources to join one of the above groups, create one! Meet on a regular basis to discuss issues, opportunities, and challenges.
- Do monthly mastermind meetings with 3-4 people outside of your day-to-day life.
Extra Credit: Identify an ongoing, diverse learning community you can commit to joining or creating. If you’re already involved in one, deepen your engagement with it.
